Language · Ethics · Tech · Power
Digital entrepreneur. Book author. University professor. 25+ years at the intersection of language, behavioural science, ethics and tech. I help organizations innovate.
About
I work on the soft infrastructure of innovation, the part that doesn't show up in tech roadmaps but determines whether any of it actually works. Language, psychology, participative culture, AI ethics, and the personal mindset that allows new ideas to surface, circulate, and get adopted.
I've worked with major global clients across tech, retail, and nonprofit, exploring how people in organizations build culture, systems, relationships, and business narratives. Sometimes the most useful thing I do is bridging the gap between what a company is actually saying versus what it thinks it's saying.
I write, I speak, I interview, and I run of/matter, a conversation format about what entrepreneurship, leadership, and culture-building actually do to the people inside them.

Speaking
The soft infrastructure of innovation, the layer that determines whether organizations actually change or just spend money on it.
Organizational culture is the engine of performance and resilience in times of crisis. Technology and AI are tools, they only work when there is a solid culture to guide them. The message inverts the dominant narrative: it is not tech that saves organizations. It is culture that determines whether tech does good or harm.
Language is the infrastructure of organizational culture, internal and external. An organization that communicates clearly, accessibly, and without hostility builds cohesion from within and trust from without. No, this is not idealism: I help you measure the economic return. The moral case and the business case, together.
Toxic cultures hiding behind the language of speed, tech-first, money-first. This topic dismantles that cosmetic layer and asks: where is the line between efficiency and exploitation? Between growth and harm? Words are not innocent. And neither are the organizations that weaponize them.
A founder is a human being navigating uncertainty until they find meaning in their work, in people, in community. Meaning creates belonging. The most countercultural topic in an ecosystem that celebrates growth as an end in itself, and an opportunity to understand why some human beings are resilient change-seekers.
of/matter explores the human experience behind entrepreneurship, innovation, and culture-building: the fractures, the rewrites, the difficult decisions, the emotional negotiations, and the identities people construct while navigating uncertainty and change.
Because the things we build eventually begin shaping us back.
